Smokin’ Voyages, the Space Apaches first album, is being promoted nationally to major markets. A national press push is also underway…to share the experience!
The Space Apaches create music that makes you feel good! Authentic music, recorded more like Steely Dan albums than contemporary productions. The Space Apaches is composed of talented Asheville, NC session (studio) players that put together really cool, meticulously-crafted rock music fused with a “spaced out” country vibe. The songs are upbeat and take you to a place of “feeling good!” They even do a few cool covers like “Just Dropped In” and a gothic rendition of “Ghost Riders in the Sky” guaranteed to increase your IQ algorithmically! One listen reveals the truth… Whoa!
The Space Apaches are:
Drums: Jim Arrendell
Bass: Rob Geisler
Key/Piano/Guitar: Aaron Price
Guitar: Andrew Reed
Guitar: Tom Leiner
The Space Apache’s primary objective is that of recording. As talented studio players, it is the work done in this setting that produces timeless recordings that can be enjoyed forever (Or as long as one is living on this plane with electricity!). The band members plays out a great deal with other artists, separately and in various combinations. However, a Space Apaches live performance event is an EVENT! Virtually every aspect of the “experience” is meticulously considered…and it is this care that makes the joining of this combination of energies so magical…
